Samuel Guénette, General Manager of M5T, is responsible for the company’s operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies of M5T. He contributes to the strategic business planning to maintain competitiveness, and recognizes new developments in VoIP and SIP technologies, and anticipates market needs.
Within M5T Samuel Guénette was also the Chief of Technology, where he supervised research projects executed in collaboration with Sherbrooke and Montreal Universities in the SIP, Security, QoS and collaborative user interfaces fields. Before joining M5T, Mr. Guénette was Chief Software Architect and co-founder employee of Mediatrix Telecom, Inc. He was responsible for the initial software architecture of the Mediatrix Analog Series 1000, with strong contribution in Mediatrix embedded software framework and protocol stacks such as MGCP and RTP. Samuel graduated with a Masters degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering from Sherbrooke University.
