M5T E-DVA SDK

The M5T® PacketCable™2.0 E-DVA SDK (M5T E-DVA SDK) for the Intel® Puma™ 5 and Intel® Puma™ 6 SoCs, is a complete SIP and voice application for an Embedded Digital Voice Adaptor (E-DVA). The E-DVA SDK implements the necessary state machine to manage analog telephone/fax lines attached to a cable modem, and also integrates into Intel’s SDK to offer the management of MIB variables related to SIP signaling and voice.

The M5T E-DVA SDK has been specifically designed for ODM/OEMs that develop and market voice-enabled cable modems based on the Puma 5 or Puma 6 SoCs. This allows accelerated development and rapid release of new Residential SIP Telephony cable modem products, while also permitting upgrades of existing products based on earlier PacketCable specifications.

E-DVA

The M5T E-DVA SDK comes with a pre-built library that can be integrated into platforms based on the Puma SoC. Build customizations are also available.

In combination with the Puma SoC and Intel Voice SDK, the E-DVA SDK is the fastest time-to-market solution capable of deploying voice as per PacketCable™ 2.0 on new or existing cable mod
