Such a service allows the enterprise to benefit from the powerful feature set available in a Centrex offering without having to invest in new on-premise systems, with the additional costs of administration and maintenance. However, when migrating to an IP Centrex solution, Enterprises often need to continue using their existing analog devices (phones, faxes, modems) and benefit from investments made in these devices.
