M5T Mgmt-IX SAFE (Management Information exchange) is a C++ based set of classes that provides the provisioning glue required by application modules. Mgmt-IX SAFE provides a configuration and management module that will analyze how the information is set and retrieved by offering a single point of access to system configuration parameters within very small memory constraints.
The M5T Mgmt-IX SAFE component provides the user with an exceptional operational advantage compatible with management protocols like SNMPv3, HTTPS and SSH.
The Mgmt-IX SAFE uses a pre-processed form of the Management Information Base (MIB) generated with a specialized tool called the M5T MixGen, which is a compiler that browses the MIB and generates the pre-processed information. In addition, the M5T MixGen tool also generates helper classes for each variable. These helper classes may be used to manage the configuration parameters from an Owner context and to access them from a User context.

Minimized coding and integration time:
Implements a variety of the generic provisioning code functionality usually contained in the applications. Support for additional modules is thereby reduced, and so is the developer’s time for this task.

MixGen:
An advanced compiler that generates classes, which facilitates the integration of Mgmt-IX within an application.

MIB dynamic tables:
Support for AUGMENTS and INDEX is well integrated within Mgmt-IX, which provides automation of the table link management.

Integration in current code base:
Generates, with MixGen, all the classes required for easy variable management; Owner may then instantiates and initializes these variables and making them automatically available to Users.

SNMP/MIB simplification:
Hides complexity associated with SNMP.

|
Multiple interface adaptors:
Many user interface adaptors can be created such as SNMP, Web based, TR-064, TR-069, WT-104 or CLI adaptor. |
